ABIDJAN (Cote d’Ivoire) – In a matter of weeks from now, eight African countries, divided in Groups B and D, will open their race for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

The second window of the African Qualifiers will run from February 25-27 in Dakar, Senegal with the eight teams playing a total of 12 games in the three-day event. 

A total of 16 nations from all corners of Africa are involved in the race for the five tickets available for Africa for the for the 32-nation showpiece in Indonesia, Japan, Philippines next year.
